I miss living in snowy climates. I lived in Mammoth Lakes, CA some years ago and worked as a liftie at the resort and it was some of the most fun I've ever had. I got fresh tracks on the mountain every morning and snowboarded whenever I wanted for free.Pretty good, it's not snowing

I'm envious. If I could make a living working at a resort I would do it in a second. Minimum wage isn't enough to survive in a resort town, as my experience at Mammoth showed me. I could probably make a living with two jobs but I don't have the stamina to stay up for two shifts every day.

Seasonal , but they do a ton of off season stuff here too that attract folks, so workers here are paid well.

Good to hear. Workers should always be paid what they're worth - not just some random, arbitrary amount that sounds good to the employer because it's on the lower end of the spectrum. If somebody does an exceptional job they should be paid well for it.
There was a 20 foot sinkhole less than 10 miles from me that broke in when two cars were driving over it in the rain yesterday. Drivers were okay, but the sinkhole was MASSIVE. Hopefully they get that thing filled in!
Those sink holes are scary. Be safe. Glad all were ok.

Yes, I slept pretty well, thanks! The weather here is nice today, but the pollen count is really high, more like April than February.

Have you heard of Quercetin with Bromelain? It is good for allergies. I can't take it because it gives me a headache, but most people it don't. My Guy takes them and his allergies are pretty much gone. When it gets real bad with pollen, he has to take a couple more that day.Bad enough.
