Don't know if it's been posted, but I've been re-watching this a lot lately. I've personally dubbed it the best live version of Voodoo Child to date. The last solo just kills me.
We love SRV here. One my guitar boys snorted with him in the early eighties....
Do you not agree that he blew it away with that song? Late in a show, but still tons of energy left. Starts with a bit of an off tone, gets it sorted while playing. The entire song is a touch faster than usual, which I think makes it sound that much better. The break down. It just all sounds soo polished.
