My dog sits in chairs next to me when I do. He thinks he's a people, lol. If he had hands instead of paws, he'd probably vape with me too..
Mine do, too. We can only have one out at a time as my boxer girl is being a bitchy girl, but when they're out, they're plastered next to me on the sofa.

A wirefox terrier mix, he's a rescue. He might be mixed with schnauzer and wirefox, the vet def said wirefox when I first got him. I have a softspot for all dogs; big, small, little. I'm a fan.
