Vgod pro mech 2 not hitting hard

I bought the Pro mech 2 about a month ago. I haven’t had much joy in using it as it doesn’t hit as hard as it should, or at least I expected it to be.

Right now I’m using the Clapton coils that came with the kit. It doesn’t hit hard. Then I’ve also tried 2nother types of coils, which were kanthals, and it still didn’t hit as hard.

It’s currently .18 ohms on 21.8 amps. So I’m pretty safe. I’m using an efest 35a 3000mah battery.

I’ve also tried LG HG2 battery and another brand as well.

It hits as if I’m vaping 50 watts on a regular mod.

Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Get some VTC5A’s so you can build a bit lower, try Stainless steel or Nichrome simple round wire builds for less coil mass. Clean all threads and contact points of mod.

Ratings on the efest are exaggerated, probably closer to 20 amps.

If you build that up with 22 or 24 gauge NI80, you will get punched in the lungs with good batteries, if that is what you are looking for.
