I have neuropathy, not diabetic, they don't know why. Whatever. I do take prescription meds, but I've been using CBD flower a couple months, maybe? I can definitely tell it helps. I know the pain you have.
Damn spelling thing just noticed that is says nephropathy. :gaah: It does not know neuropathy. Yeah the Kratom helps but nowhere near a fix.

Pre-diabetic is basically a new made up medical phrase.
It just means your cholesterol isn't perfect but isn't high enough to have you taking pills forever.

It used to be a simple "You know these high numbers can lead to diabetes" from your doctor.
Now it's "Pre-Diabetic"

But don't worry.
They'll have a new expensive drug to combat Pre-Diabetes that we will be required to take every day for the rest of our lives in no time.:D
In typical Pharma fashion they'll be a catch like if you stop taking the pills the original symptoms will get much worse for a few months..
I am just under where I should take cholesterol meds.
However I also have horrible discs in my back so maybe pinched nerves. I also have sciatica.

And in your next post, which contains the link http://vapingunderground.com/attachments/ddddddd-png.154266/ it tells me "Error, you don't not have permission..." blah blah blah. I thought we were all making that pretty clear!

I haven't found the option to PM (possibly blind), there seems to be no problem with changing my avatar tho.

Likewise; I changed my avatar just before and right after xmas, no issues.

The "PM" thing is a bit of a misnomer; if you click on someone's avatar, in the little popup there's a link for "start a conversation" -- that's a private msg.

My lipids are always totally weird -- a genetic thing. But recall I've lost about 11 lbs over the last 6-7 months? The bloodwork I just got showed my HDL was low (as usual) and my triglycerides were astronomical (as usual!), but the triglycerides were substantially lower than last year, and my LDL was also a LOT lower than last year -- last year it was borderline high, this year was WELL below that, in the normal range -- I'm sure it's both because of the weight loss, and also eating lots of Cheerios -- they make blueberry Cherrios now, YUM!!! They didn't run my A1C this year, because it's been so normal and also my glucose so normal for the last 2 yrs, but my glucose was also substantially lower this year; maybe because of the weight loss, but probably more likely as a result of the slight carb. reduction, including sugar, that I've been observing since about July -- which is one of the reasons for the weight loss! :)

I have been diagnosed with Pre-diabetic nephropathy in my feet.
whatever that is? Pre-diabetic?
Whatever the cause I have nephropathy in my feet. Walking is a real pain. And even a pain while lying in bed...
Kratom helps some, which also helps with my back. Helps the back more than the feet.
My foot neuropathy is shooting pains and numbness. I could step on a lego and only feel there there is something uneven on the floor. So far nothing really helps except eating healthy which doesn't happen often.

Sounds pretty much like mine by big toes are pretty much totally numb. And if I bend them too much sharp pain.
And yes feels like gravels in my shoes.

Mine is toes and bottom of foot mainly, but the shooting pains can happen anywhere on the foot. No way to predict it. Completely random. I also have peripheral neuropathy in my upper left arm and left hand since the shoulder surgery. The nerve blocker that was given for post op pain has left my with permanent tingling, numbness, and constant pain. It was supposed to go away after 3 or 4 days. It's now 6 months later and no one can figure out what's causing it. Fuck doctors!

Mine started out with just numb big toes. If it works i's way up to my balls I may just die.

Hell I don't need mine anymore so no loss.
Need no for me either. However they hurt like hell if agitated.
For me the worst pain of having a kidney stone blockage. Nothing wrong with them but feels like I have vise grips on them.

I think they all hurt like hell if agitated. May be time to get rid of them.

I think I have figured it out.
Every staff member can see the image but no regular member can.
That would make it something to do with Joe's post.

I live in Cali - so... we have it good as far as this is concerned.

I have rather severe nerve pain that emanates from my sigmoid colon. A dozen specialists can't figure out why. I occasionally end up in emergency on a morphine drip - it's that bad. I was put on a regimen of three different neuron receptor modifier drugs to block the pain. That didn't go too well... I started having pronounced cognitive ability suppression. I couldn't multi task, advanced math became almost impossible (I was a Mechanical Engineer), and I would forget what I was saying right in the middle of sentences. A pain relief doctor suggested I try cannabis. It worked.

I grow my own - it contains a strain called Pure CBD. It works. I've been able to drop to less than half of the previous levels of prescription meds and seem to see more pain relief now.

Seems that the KY hemp/CBD industry is having problems.
And also the FDA is kinda on their back like with vaping and have been jumping CBD sites about making claims about what it could do for you. Just like they do with most supplements. The FDA also does not consider it GRAS for Human or animal consumption...
Rocky road ahead it seems.
Here is a link to the KY bad CBD news.

I think we all know that "on their back" is FDA's favorite position, RE Big Pharma... or maybe bent over and spread!
