Vaping salt nic in sub-ohm device

I am new to vaping and just trying to get started so I can get away from cigarettes. I am using a vaporesso switchwe with a NRG tank. I also have a couple big baby lite tanks I am using. I have been using 0.15 coils. I accidentally bought some 12 mg salt nic liquid and before researching started using it in the tanks I have. I must say I am a fan. Everything I have read online say it is not a good idea to use salt nic in sub ohm devices. Should I stop using this or is it a low enough nicotine level to be ok?

Also, in the same errored order I got some omg luquid. Is there any way to add nicotine to this so I can still use it. Preferably nic salt if it is on to use in my device.

There are nic salts for sub ohms, but you never mentioned the brand. Nic salt just has a faster delivery. If you feel OK with it then by all means you can continue to use it. For adding nic to non nic juice you can buy online but you may reduce the flavor a little. Use a online juice DIY calculator to add the right amount.

I got them from Humble juice, they are SVLT vapor. made by humble juice and solace.
Yes I see, and did you notice the nic mg they sell from 3 mg, and goes all the way to 50 mg which is used in pod systems. Now if you sub ohm 50 mg of nic your going to know about it. And 3 or 6 in a pod system is like having no nic. What I am trying to show you is that 3, 6 or even 12 in salts are OK for sub ohms as long as you do not feel niced out.

That is good to hear because I wasn’t a huge fan of regular nicotine vaping. Is it difficult to add the salt nic to no nic liquid? I can’t seem to find a very good variety of the salt nic juice online that is available in 12mg. That is the level that seems to be keeping me from needing a cigarette. If it is fairly simple I could just buy no nic juice and add the salt nic to my liking.

If you are not getting a headache or a stomach ache with the Nic Salts your vaping then keep doing it if you like. For shits and giggles I once took 100% VG 48MG Nicotine base and vaped it to see how it was. Serious head rush but I am here to talk about. No ill effects although I did only vape 1ML of it.

I get my nic salts from Liquid Nicotine Wholesale for diy. I order 100mg pg based. Keeps the math simple and you won't dilute your flavor as much as ordering the 12mg.

I remember when I first started vaping I used 36 mg of nic the first few months then reduced it to 24, 18, 12, 6, and now at 3 over the years.

So, if I do get the 100mg nic salt liquid you guys recomended and add it to my humble 0mg liquid, do I need to do anything special or just add it, mix, and go. I have read some of the DIY forums and say something about “steeping” but not sure if that will be nesecary.

You guys are awesome and I appreciate the help! Day 3 without a cigarette from one and a half to two packs a day.

If if you are just adding Nicotine it does require time to properly infuse in my opinion. A buddy in the UK who uses Nic Shots because if the TPD Rules and when I suggested giving it some time instead of Shake and Vape he found it much better.

What is a good amount of time to let it infuse?

For my DIY mixes I heat to them to about 100°F so I can have them ready to vape in 48-72 hours. If you shake the bottle and still see the separation of different components you know it needs more time. If you use heat never more than 150°F or you will degrade the nicotine. Heat speeds the process.

Thank you for the welcome and for the help. Do you have any suggestions on the best way to heat the liquid up in the bottle that it came in or do I need to take it out of the bottle? It is a plastic bottle with I small tip and I don’t know how I would get it back in the bottle if I dumped it out.

I use 2 ways to heat, a Hot Water Bath or heated under an incandescent bulb from a desk lamp (Low Heat). I Never Microwave because I tried it once and it super heated the e-Liquid in seconds.

I’m not sure what to put in the flavor percentage block in this calculator due to the fact that it is pre-made.

The only reason to ever dump a DIY or any e-Liquid is if it "Tastes Like Butt"!
I use to DIY my own RY4 which everyone liked but have no time now.

I use nic salts in my shake and vapes with no problems. I would advise first adding nic to 30ml of your juice and see how it works for you rather than boosting the whole bottle.

You guys ever tried mixing caffeine in your juices? Good idea/bad idea? Difficult? I work midnights so I survive in energy drinks.

There are caffeine e-liquids, but be very careful - caffeine gets absorbed much faster by inhalation than oral ingestion...and just me and my idea about it, I wouldn't put any caffeine in your main vape because...what if you want more nicotine but already feel sick from too much caffeine!

I don't know anything about DIY caffeine, but there are posts about it online somewhere...and you can buy liquids already caffeinated

I would also suggest a second tank for caffeinated juice. I think there is a brand called High Voltage.

Really caffeinated juice, rather have a cup of coffee, and a vape. What's next a VIAGRA juice!

We sold a lot of the ridiculously priced caffeinated juice at the shop. I prefer to drink mine so never tried it. Honestly sold most of it to the youngsters and one truck driver.

I can actually vape 50mg in a sub ohm mod and not get sick I just recommend that you build up your resistance first before you attempt something as high as mine

I recently vaped close to 20MG before a Football Game with 3MG being my regular level. 1st hit was an eye opener but enjoyed the rest of the bottle I made up. Thinking I might raise my nicotine to see if I vape less.

Don't often chain vape here using 18mg. I vape modestly at around 3ml per day on average. Some odd days I might spike to 5ml per day but those are further between than the 3ml days. I'm not using salts though, just plain old dumb nicotine. Yep, I sub ohm it too.

Sounds like it worked for him but would it mute flav if I tried to add salt nic to a zero mg 120 bottle? Sorry I'm commenting where he's looking for answers.I'm in same boat.Have a120 jug of naked unicorn 100 @ 0mg.I wanna make it 35 mg salt.Should I get a couple flav concentrates in case muting occurs?

Your fine adding small amounts of salt nic(very small) refer to online calculator for desired strength or go to online recipes that are clones or homemade concoctions.Just look for ones that mimic the strength your lookin for even if its an entirely diff flav n recipie just to gauge amount of nic or salt nic to add.Trial n error.Add a lil then more since u can't take any out the hats for sure

Steeping is really just to get ea flavor to bind to the VG n Pg(nic too) just ages it n melds together. If you already have an EJUICE ready to go @0 nic...adding nic shouldn't require anymore steep..just shake the hell out of it.

I've been buying 250mg salts and added some to a commercial 0mg juice (boosted to 9mg) and noticed no muting. Actually I had to also add some base due to juice was too sweet. That being said I have an different juice that the 10ml of base didi mute, added 1% of the main fruit and it's very good.

I'm also fine continuing to use freebase 18 mg nicotine per ml. :) I've no desire to try nicotine salts. Freebase nicotine ejuice suits me. Figure if I decide on using salts there's info abounding, thank you for assuring that. :)

I have been smoking 50mg salt nic out of a smok tfv6 baby beast for 2 years. Now use a tfv9 smok device zero issues. Brand of liquid 99% of time is candy king on salts. 50mg
