Using Bakery Flavors?

Hey everyone,

Got a question here. Someone asked me, & I couldn't answer, I'm not set up to make my own flavors just yet, I'm still piecing information together & getting my plans worked out. But someone asked me if you could use the food flavorings like you would buy in a bakery store, or from the grocer. I think it's a legitimate question, I've just never thought about it much. So...what do you guys think? Is it doable, not doable? To do, or not to do.....

Daniel.. as long as it is water soluble, and you can understand the ingredients.. should be fine.. but check first..

no sugars*
no gums
no emulsions
no sweetened alcohol.. vodka rum (white 151) and everclear are accepted..

*agave.. is a deep subject.. if you use, I was told by Kurt the chemist on ecf.. how i do it is:
1ml of the lightest coloring of agave to 9ml of pg.. then use:
1 drop for sweet
2 for sweeter
3 for sweetest
using a needle nose dropper bottle

if and when in doubt, always ask someone before doing anything.
Good luck!:)
