Twisting kanthal, twisting it tight vs lose

Hi guys I've got a question I've always twisted my kanthal until it's so tight it snaps on the ends, with a drill. I also see some twist it much less almost as twist with gaps being less tight. Is there a difference or is it subjective to taste difference?thanks any opinions are welcome I have done it with 26g kA1 for awhile finally got some 24g kA1 a week ago ready to twist some up!

Really it's up to preference, but the tighter the twists, the more wire per inch. That would impact the resistance between two otherwise identical builds, but it's a negligible amount so do whichever is preferred by you. I like to twist it till it snaps also.

I was too lazy to get my drill out, and twisted a pair of 32 gauge kanthal strands together. I threw it on my KayFun. It vapes great at ~19 watts. 2.4 ohms...
