When I initially read another article on the Robert Lee announcer topic, I thought it was Satire. The media with their politically correct zealotry have basically discriminated against an Asian dude because of his name. ESPN has moved from Sports coverage to just another liberal TV channel that covers sports, virtue signals, and spouts PC drivel by the bucked load.

So one of Florida Marquis YouTube subscribers came up with this video of 2 cargo ships saying it was a dry run of hacking the Autopilot systems of ships remotely and he is saying this is exactly how the USS Fitzgerald, USS McCain, USS Lake Champlain, USS Antietam, and the USS Porter incidents occurred. All of these collisions/incidents could in all probability have been hacking attacks of the Autopilot systems to cause the collisions themselves.
How the have not corrected the issue after the 2012 Porter Incident is beyond me. In both the Fitzgerald and the McCain it was the ramming vessel that turned sharply but reports are McCain lost steerage making them unable to avoid the tanker. It is assumed the Fitzgerald suffered similar issues. Potentially any vessel using an autopilot is a potential weapon.
