So I bought a Think Vape Finder 250 about 6 months ago thinking that it was made by the same family that made Lost Vape products and would be a great product at a slightly cheaper price. Well that was not the case at all. From the get go the software was buggy. It wouldn't change to Nickel/TI easily nor would it change temps easily. Meaning that it was impossible to do anything but watts mode. And it still is! I can only use it in wattage mode. But then 2 weeks later while pulling off the battery door cover to recharge the batteries, one of the magnets fell off. Seems there wasn't enough glue on there to hold it in place. Well I tried to super glue it back in with Gorilla Glue and that didn't work. So I tried this epoxy stuff(don't remember what it was) and it didn't work either. When the backing fell off at work, I lost the magnet. So I emailed Think Vape to get a new one.......No Reply! I emailed them 6 more times and recieved no replies to any of my emails! Think Vape is a terrible company and their products will break on you as soon as the terrible warranty is up. I can't believe in this day and age that they don't have at least a 1yr warranty on their products. It used to be that quality products where in demand and if you didn't make quality products people wouldn't buy them. Now.....no one cares! I had to go out and buy a new mod. I went with a cheaper one as well without the DNA chip in it, and you know what? It works perfectly! It's a Sigelei btw. Haven't had a problem with it yet! DO NOT BUY THINK VAPE PRODUCTS! I wasted $170 on one of them and that's a lot of money for me, especially in today's economy. I have to work 3x as hard for less money than I was making 3yrs ago, and threatened that if I don't work harder I'll get my shifts cut and/or fired. So wasting my money on something like this is very fucking frustrating! Pass the word and ban all Think Vape products! Their crap!

Well I think that we should get back to that quality matters mental attitude. So pass on this story to prevent others from getting ripped off

I'm sure other than the magnets, the mod is fine. He probably just doesn't know how to use a DNA.

What problems was you having changing into TC mode? It uses a DNA250 board, so you can set it up however you like with Escribe. If it is buggy, reboot it, try soft first then hard.

Evolv have a great return policy- I ahve had 2 DNA200's replaced by them (both in hotcig mods). I just had to pay shipping to them, which was about £9 from the UK to the USA. They replaced the board both times.
This doesn't sound like a board issue though, just a setup problem.

The magnet problem is annoying, but quite easy to fix.

"you get what you pay for"

You start your rant stating that you tried to cheap out, and then complain about cut corners and poor service. Like any other product, if you want a hand built, lifetime warranty product buy one. But you better dig deeper in your pockets.
I'm sure if all this happened in a couple week period your warranty covered it if you followed up.
