Its actually just a spanish moss patina. Well, four spanish moss patinas over a two day stretch with creative sanding in between each. After the clear coat, they take on a holographic effect, which of coarse is difficult to capture with an iphone. These two were done the same way only with different approaches to the sanding.

They are for sale,... just don't expect fasttech prices. I'll post a very detailed how to if I can get a specialty "verified" tag. Dont care what it is either, verified creeper, verified nothing, verified gluten free.

It's probably the same as the papertowel method only using spanish moss. Just spray the spanish moss with non detergent ammonia, vinegar and non iodised salt and wrap around the mod. Hang the mod over the same solution. Cover, rotatate mod and spray moss every few hours with solution.;)

Yes they are very nice! you did an excellent job.
Now that's what you call a Verified attaboy!;)

Wow, somebody actually knew what my avatar was from.

A detailed walk through is coming soon, so get your penny ready Dhim. Work has been killing me lately. Today was a short day at 11.5 hours. I'm out of mods to patina at the moment, so no pics unfortunately. Well, I do have a copper straight tube Nemesis, but thats staying stock.

I don't think they can change the Verified member tag......;) But no seriously, is that darker mod still available for sale?

Very nice patina btw...nice to see something in a different colour spectrum! I did a copper "Half Patina" on my 4nine last summer.
