Anyone know anything about this guy. I’ve had it for a while and wasn’t great at building rta just wondering if it’s worth breaking out

The build deck is tiny. I’ve never been able to build a great fit for it

I have 3 and I love them. I use them with the single coil deck (separate purchase).

Do you have the postless deck or the Velocity deck?

Velocity. The one with two posts and then coils Top and bottom. I’d be interested in the single coil deck

I just threw a fused Clapton on it and wicked it up. Very easy. Nice tight draw. If you like a ton of airflow this probably isn’t for you but if you don’t mind a little restricted draw as a sacrifice for flavor then definitely pick it up. I got it for $28 on element vape.

I thought you meant the Aromamizer Supreme v2. They don’t have a single coil deck for the one you have.

I thought the Supreme, too. I do love that one.

So I'm curious if this would work, since I got the V2 on a clearance for like $7, but haven't used it yet. The ceramic piece doesn't totally fit, but the little rubber piece does. I figure if using just the little rubber piece, then throwing wicking on top of that, if that wouldn't work, too. I suppose it's worth a shot. I know the Supreme is super flavorful, I've read that the others are, too.

It's weird. It's just a tad wider. I ordered this one separately than the Supreme, thinking it was what was needed. @MrMeowgi suggested doing something like this for a different tank, so he might know if something like this would work.

I suppose the worst that could happen, it would leak. I'm home for the next few days, so I'll give it a shot.

    Lol!
I copied this from Steamcrave, you can use it without the ceramic part & you will experience this:
    1. Only use silicone plug to block juice holes, you will have huge airflow

And you didn’t order the same thing twice.

The first link is for the Aromamizer Supreme V1 & V2

The second link is for the Aromamizer V1 & V2.

      It is confusing lol!

And the plug in the 2nd link

It seems to fit ok, but I've not tried it out. I will, soon, though.

But you did buy the right plug for the rdta.

You have the Aromamizer v2 & you bought the plug for the Aromamizer V1 & v2. It should fit fine. But since you can I think use it without the ceramic plug the airflow shouldn’t be too much because it’s the Aromamizer not the Aromamizer Supreme.

That makes really good sense, I kind of forgot this one has less AF than the other. The other I have to keep pretty closed down, but man, the flavor!

@88ArDeN88 I hope any of this is helping you out.

Yeah, I have the Supreme RDTA, the one I posted a pic of that I got from 101vape super cheap, and the Lite. I kinda wished they'd called them all something a bit different. I confuse easily, lol.

Cheapest I'm seeing them is $26ish from China.

I bought mine such a long time ago and forgot about it. Like I said never really got a good build on it. I didn’t know it was even a good tank when I bought it. I got a good deal on it online. I’m gonna go to YouTube and see if I can get a couple build tutorials

Wow, this is a blast from my past!

The Aromamizer RDTA V1 was the first tank I discovered a few years ago that got me on my way to leaving my RDAs behind. If I remember correctly the V2 has the same deck, air flow and chamber, just added the metal air flow ring instead of that funky rubber band setup. I vaped it for a while with dual coils set up for around 40 watts. I never could figure out how to get it wicked so it would not dry hit and also not flood and leak when turned on its side so I just accepted keeping it upright and wicked it to flow properly. Doing that with a dual coil build is pretty straightforward. I think it will handle up to around 60 watts, but it does heat up pretty good when chain vaping it at higher power. Flavor, vapor and TH are quite good, specially for tanks from back then.

I moved on to tanks that were easier to wick and my power levels dropped until my preferred vape was around 20 watts using a single coil, but I still always had one of these set up for when I felt like a more aggressive vape. One day I thought I would have a look at it and see if I could make it work with a single coil with a bit less power. The following pics are my first attempt and it worked quite well. The coil was ugly but once I knew what I wanted to do it was pretty easy to build it properly :)

Man, the old Kbox Mini is also a blast from my past ;)

So, I got the coil as high as I could and stuffed enough wick in there to close off some of the air chamber underneath and around it. And yes, it's a long way up from the deck to the coil! I found that Rayon worked better than cotton for me. What I also did was unscrew the tank from the base just enough to line up the air flow with the build so it vaped the way I wanted it to, and that was critical because of those big posts and all that wicking. It was a very nice 25'ish watt vape, but I had better lower power single coil tanks by then so after I played around with it for a while I cleaned up these puppies and stashed them.

It was a neat experiment getting it to vape well with a single coil and I'm glad I did it. It was fun and I learned something. It's very likely a lot easier to do this using the single coil insert, but though I have a couple of them I never tried one.

IMO, there are much better tanks out there now in this style design. My Augvape Boreas V1 is a very similar design but doesn't have the wicking issue, will do more power and is a better vape. Never tried to build that with a single coil. The Steam Crave Supreme V1 is very similar to the Boreas and a lot of people thought they were both very good.

For me there are better tanks to chose from these days, but the Aromamizer V1 or V2 are still very good vapes if someone is willing to learn their quirks and put up with their limitations. And some people did claim to get past the wicking issues, but then again a lot of folks didn't.

Fluff your wicks & just have the wick ends sitting on top of the wick holes.

I recently got an Aromamizer V2.1 RDTA with the postless deck and the 8ml upgrade kit directly from Steam Crave. Immediately became one of my favorite tanks. Love it. Amazing flavor and clouds.

Edit: Also a really neat feature: you can set it up to function as a dripper with no tank, a 5ml tank, or the 8ml tank if you get the kit. Versatile, pretty easy to build on, and great flavor & clouds.

@Heartsdelight nailed it. You're very likely putting too much wick on top of the juice holes on the deck. You don't even have to cover the juice holes with wick, this tank does not use vacuum at the deck area to avoid flooding. Try it with the wick ends just grazing the deck and see how that handles. Of course, doing this means that if you lay the mod on its side it's going to leak. The solution to that is more wick on the juice holes, but then you again risk dry hits.

I couldn't find a consistent happy medium, so as I said I set it up for no dry hits and accepted that I had to keep the tank upright. Once I got that figured out, it was a very nice vape :)

I have at this time 6 or 7 of the Aromamizer Supremes I think; in both the V1's and the V2's and V2.1's. They are without question my favorite tanks. They are simple and versatile. I don't have and never have had any of the regular Aromamizers that are shown. But I am pretty knowledgeable about all the Steam Crave products that I have including the Glaz and the Aromamizer Plus as well as the Aromamizer Supremes.

With the velocity style decks I prefer to stand the coils on end vertically. I use 4 or 5 wraps @ 3.5 or 4mm i.d. on these coils. If you go horizontally with your coils you have to make your coils pretty tight to fit on that dinky deck. Vertically you can build a pretty big coil and wicking is better this way too. Get your cotton to just hang down on the bottom and not wadded in there too tight but enough to fill the juice well completely. Then on the top end you want to cut the cotton off close to the coil. It isn't doing anything other than plugging the top airflow up the chimney anyway. The airflow from the bottom comes up from the center of the deck so you don't want to block that either.

For my Aromamizer Supremes there are currently 4 different decks you can get and use from Steam Crave. I don't know what is available for the plain Aromamizers. On the Aromamizer Supremes you have the original velocity style deck then they started shipping with the original postless deck with the V2's and now the V2.1's ship with a slightly different postless deck. IMHO, the newer postless deck is superior for wicking but the original postless deck works very well too. On the original postless, one had to bring the wick tails back around the coil because the juice wells are located on the side of the coils. It doesn't appear that the original postless deck is available anymore but I'll bet you could talk Steam Crave out of one if you really wanted one. On the current postless decks the juice wells lie right underneath the ends of the coils and is based on the postless deck used on the Aromamizer Plus. Finally, there is the single coil deck version. I have a couple I got from Steam Crave and I really, really like this deck. It's very easy to build and to wick. And it turns any Aromamizer Supreme into one hard, pipe hitting mother fucker.

I know all 4 version of the different decks work in any version of the Aromamizer Supremes. I don't know if they will work in the original Aromamizers. Check with Steam Crave (they are down right now for the Chinese festival season).

I tried dual vertical coils on my Aromamizer V1's and it didn't help me with the wicking issue. I went back to horizontal builds. I did however always use 2.5 or 3 mm simple round wire builds so I could fit them in there with no problems. But that was just my experience with them.

As far as I know the Aromamizer V1 and 2 only have decks of either triple post design or Velocity design. I've only used the velocity type. FT offered some of these with bigger juice openings and I tried them with good results, but it still didn't solve my wicking issue.

The V1 single coil insert might help, but as I said I have no experience with it, and honestly I doubt it would make much difference as it doesn't make any difference to the juice flow.

For me a 3mm coil & having the top of the coil level with the top of the build deck. Having a fluffy wick rest on top of the wick holes not stuffed yields the best results for me.

I like the flavor much more using dual coils with the velocity deck or even better, the postless deck. Using the postless in the V1 and velocity in the V2. I tried the single coil deck and wasn't impressed so I made the switch to duals. Also prefer the 5ml glass for flavor. In fact, I plan to get few more of the 5ml glass soon.

I recently purchased a Supreme v2.1 from a member and I kept getting dry hits until I did this. Using the newer postless deck with 3mm fused claptons of some flavor.

Going to get the single coil deck soon.

I forgot to add colored Mizer glass to the sale thread. I have a dozen new red & blue tubes I could sell.

I don’t have access to the classified on ECF. 5 would be too many for me. I just wanted to try 1.
