Absolutely! We had a clock that my mom got from there when I was about 8 yrs old... it lasted till I was about 50.
Finally the movement just wouldn't work anymore even with a fresh battery, so we had to replace it.Andria

Do you also recall the stamp books we filled in school, and when they were filled, exchanged them for $25 federal savings bonds? I had 5 or 6 of those bonds, which went a long way to purchasing the violin I played in high school.

I was in the first thru 4th grades, so circa '67-'70. I changed elementary schools when I started 5th grade, and they didn't have that program at that school.
