Sigelei 150w

Hey guys question for you.

Just got my sigelei and so far it's been good. Running a kangertech sub tank with the .5ohm disposable cartridge in it set at 25w.

Is there any reason it seems like the draw is getting lower similar to when your batteries dying on an unregulated mod? The read out is staying consistent but from 100% charge down to about 55% it seems like the draw has decreased significantly.

I was under the impression one of the advantages to using a regulated mod is that it'll have a consistent draw throughout the battery life until it just can't run it anymore.

Thoughts?

What batteries are you using?

And how long have you been vaping on that one set?

And are the batteries a new married pair?

Have they ever split up an cheated with another mod?

Samsung 25r brand new married fully charged.

Never been used on anything else and the coils about 2-3 days old

look at the inside of the coils, are they gunked up?

Like ZZ said, if the coils of the OCC heads start to get gunked up, airflow can decrease.

Such is the case of the OCC head I have in my mini right now and I will be swapping it out soon for a fresh one.

I usually only use my batteries half way then put in a fresh pair. I've noticed that my batteries dont drain equally. I use my Sig 150 and subtank also. I have three sets that I switch out. But I do notice when it gets down to 55 it seems like it's draining also.

Ya just got a chance to look looks like the coils are gunked up. Mystery solved.

Is it normal for then to gunk up that fast?

@cheryllehancock I believe it was odbdave that mentioned the sigelei 150 battery deck drains unevenly so he rotates them at around the 50% mark. Ie: batteries 1/2 become batteries 2/1 in the deck.

If you're vaping really sweet stuff, they'll gunk up pretty fast.

On the other hand though the local shop has the vertical coils in grabbed a couple boxes gonna give it a try.
