Rig Mod Issues

I just recently spent a mint on a rig mod and rough neck rda from the vaping griffin. However an 18650 sits too high. The only way I can get the switch to connect is if I have it backed out almost all the way. The rough neck rda wich was made for the mod won't screw in with the batter either. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is the mod defective ?

Are you saying the switch contact won't work unless backed out? Maybe the. Battery wrap is getting in the way or if the battery has been over tighten and is bent in? I'd try other brands of batteries.

The contact on the RDA is adjustable? Maybe tighten it up

Maybe try and understand how mech mods work, or this one in particular? Button top battery? Pictures?
