My suggestion is to research and read up on batteries and safety. Hell, people make youtube videos on the subject if you're too lazy to read about it.

Please do as much research as possible before you start to build your own. Then question everything you read and re-read it. Research, cross reference, research some more. Then possibly ask questions on the research you have done.

Lots of LiPo packs are used today to power mods. But I would not build a mech with one. You could power a chipped mod with one.

The battery pack you are suggesting though, has a low mah rating.

Unless you are experienced building electronic stuff, it's best not to mess with stuff like this though.

Every DNA 200/250 mod uses them. As long as the chip can handle 12.6 volts your good. No mech mod though.
But 700ma..not sure if I'd bother.

Sure. But how safe the mod will be would depend fully on how well you understand physics
