When I made the switch to 18650 mods, I paid attention to Mooch and only got batteries from his recommended sites.

I just got this K-101 mod kit and unexpectedly found that it had an 18650 and 18350 battery included. I have no idea of who the manufacturer is.

I could mentally “risk/benefit” this issue until SMOD rolls in, but I wanted to post this pic and get some feedback from the VU Battery Brigade before I put these in my battery rotation.....or not.

Kamry ships those mods with very, very, very low grade "ICR" Li-Ion batteries which are notorious for literally going "KABOOM" like an M80 firecracker. Max CDR "Maybe" on that 18650 is about 5amps CDR, not good for vaping, the 18350 is maybe 2 to 2.5amp CDR. They are flashlight batteries, not vaping batteries.

All dodgy if you ask me nothing mentioned about amp rating and all descriptions mention low discharge usage products only

So you've got proper batteries already? Use those then, not these unknown entities which just happen to have the correct form factor.
