Protank Coil Question

After I rebuild my coils, and wick them, they might sit for a week or so.
Why does the resistance increase during this time?
I will build the coil at 1.6 ohm and when I go to use it, it may
have increased to 2.5 or higher.

Using 30ga, 7 turns, cotton.

i have watched a lot of videos where the coils rate at a higher ohm after they are saturated with juices.

Have you checked and or cleaned your connections on both your ohm meter and your device, how are your delrin sleeves looking on your atty?

I have tried tightening the metal pin of the PT head and the silicon sleeves look ok.

I rebuild PT3 coils and sometimes my ohms change to higher if I screw the base in real tight, maybe its just mine, but if I just back it off a little and check it again it goes back.

Stock PT heads I have been rolling are 1.6 parallel for em.
34 ga 6 wrap.
