Hey guys, so I just tried building on some Ti wire and my XCube keeps slipping out of TC and into power mode every time I try to vape it. Does anyone else have this problem>

Ok I think I just fixed it. I guess when the wire gets too hot it automatically switches to power mode. Just needed to turn my temp down a bit. So far I'm enjoying the vape I'm getting - nice and cool, almost not spitting/popping, just pure vape flavor goodness. Anyone else using this wire?

Yes. With some mods when the resistance of the temp limiting build goes above what it thinks is a temp limiting coil, they will pop into watts mode. This has happened to me when I built a NI200 dripper setup that was 0.15. As the resistance rose with heat, it went over .2 Ohms, so the mod assumed it was a low Ohm Kanthal coil and popped into watts mode.

I was using spaced coils and didn't tighten them down which made things worse I think, plus it was a .3 build. Just did some 2mm ID contact coils at .15 and it's working great now.
