Hold the cores flat for 3 core Clapton or aliens. You can use other things like paperclips and tiny clothespins but these work really well
Took me a minute to figure out the process but they work well at holding everything together Sent from my LM-X210(G) using Tapatalk
*sigh* I guess I do this shit again, yeah it's still meditative Kanthal 29g framed 8x.3 staple 40g clapton
I think I will start going 4 wraps instead of 5, because with all kanthal it is bit slow to heat up for me - 0.13 ohms or so with 5 wrap, .1 with 4
Maybe for the frames (staged heating), but there is absolutely no noticeable difference between nichrome, kanthal, and/or stainless steel when using 40 gauge for the outer binding. Literally just a few microseconds - completely beyond our ability to perceive a difference in the ramp up time.
4 or 5 core aliens i remember yours those were beautiful! Lähetetty minun ONEPLUS A6003 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
I did coil in a long time to myself in wasp nano now Framed staple 30g frames 6ply of 0.3 ribbon wrapped in 44g all N80 Lähetetty minun ONEPLUS A6003 laitteesta Tapatalkilla
I went through my old single coil squonk rda's, I found one I could put a solid 510 pin in, dremmeled the airhole, and put in a leftover framed staple- turned it into a new functional cloud chucker
I've been on my first extended "rda only" foray. Now at 2 weeks straight of only dripping. I put a 0.2 ohm notch coil on my GeekVape Loop and it was okay. Next, I got a CoilArt DPro kit from @DonBaldy with the atty pre-loaded. Very nice. Decided to load up my Recurve with a @Shredtravolta special. (0.2 ohm and I'm too much of a coil noob to know the type) So, not my own build, but wanted to throw out some props to the maker of some great coils. Thanks Shred
Was looking through my old pics, found this "N90 is like N80's sensetive baby sister - it will melt if you yell at it" Long live kanthal!
I see that she didn’t notice your question. Yes @zephyr is in business again. I recently bought a pair of awesome fraliens from her Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
