The Pioneer4U IPV 8 is by no means the latest and greatest of the IPV range from P4U. Superceeded by the newer IPV 6X, the older V8 carries the SX 330 chip from YiHi which again, is a chip which, like the mod, dates back to last year. Even with the age of the mod, P4U is still producing and selling it in the market, so there must be something about it which keeps people coming back.
With its 230watt max (although whether it reaches that is another matter), temp control from a YiHi chip, which means it will work, and a rugged and well made mod housing, the IPV 8 is a throw back the the winter of last year, when thinner, durable dual battery mods was starting to make a regular appearance.
