When talking e-liquid plastic bottle usage and storage, whats safer/healthier to use PE or PET?

They're both safe. The variables are in the usage. PET is completely impermeable while LDPE "breathes" (on the molecular level) over time. So if you're going to store your juices for years PET would be the choice. Small PET bottles are harder to squeeze which makes a difference for an arthritic like myself. Finally, there's steeping. PETs have been know to deform or melt with high temperature "forced" steeping while LDPE does not. I choose LDPE, but that's because as I said, I'm arthritic and I heat steep. There is no right answer.

PET bottles are very stiff...unless you just plan to store in large bottles and pour out to refill smaller ones then dont get PET bottles...you can barely squeeze a drop from one as a refill dripper bottle to fill a tank.

Glass amber bottles are best for storage...LDPE are great dispensing bottles...easy to squeeze.

Tell me about it.
I got some 5ml PETs, it's like a safety bottle even without the safety caps:D
My 50ml ones are manageable though.

I believe the PE bottles are softer than PET.

10% malic acid DIY solution tasted like plastic after a year in a PET bottle. If it'll crack a tank, imo store it in glass.

Defenetly PE is better quality than PET but at home always store in glass bottles.
It is also more convenient to use, softer...
