PCBA TOO HOT

I went to sleep with everything working fine , woke up to the message pcba too hot when I try to fire my Smok H Priv2.Is it fried or what? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I've done that twice.Once for about 20 minutes and once for 5.No difference.Its not in the least bit hot but will(when it comes on at all) not fire and keeps showing that error message.

Did you have a major liquid spill that you possibly could have gotten e-Liquid on the board? Just a thought. Good Luck

Well I had a leak a couple of days ago , but didnt effect anything , could it be a delayed reaction?

It could have worked it's way into the MOD. Only will know if you disassemble and look.

Google it and there are plenty of videos on complete disassembly of an H-Priv 2. Good Luck

I did , I cant find ANY.I saw plenty for H Priv but not H Priv2.

You may want to try reflashing the firmware just to be sure it isn't a firmware issue.

@SteveS45 is most likely correct about the liquid.

I would suggest reflashing the firmware after cleaning the mod out as well.

You could also try cleaning without disassembly if you use QD Electrical Contact Cleaner.

I do not recommend using Alcohol as it can damage components and plastics.
