Of Hexohm and batteries

Hello everyone!
I have a question for the ones of you that own an Hexohm 3.0 or are very fond on batteries.
So, the board is rated up to 30 amp limit, with some voltage protection. If I use my Kennedy with a 0.16 ohm build on it, with two Samsung 25r batteries, the box let me fire up to 70%~ of the potentiometer. And it's ok, according to charts. But yesterday I decided to put a brand new pair of vtc6 and... It let me fire to 100%. According to Ohm's law that's like 220w and 37.5 ampere.

So, why does it let me go over the limit of 180w and 30 amp with the vtc6? Needless to say, I didn't do it intentionally, i just forgot to adjust the voltage after swapping the Goon (0.24 ohm) with the Kennedy.

Thanks folks!
