Welcome. Yeah, it is about 99% safe. Nothing about vaping is 100% safe, but we do everything we can to reduce risks. With a regulated mod, (variable watts/ voltage, it is mostly using good batteries. Samsung, LG or Sony. High drain, 20A to 30A, but 20A are better for regulated mods.

Now, as for the resistance, if your mod will fire it, it is fine.
