My tank won't fit back together

I dropped my vape by accident and the top of the tank fell off leaving only the part that screws on attached to my mod, which is a Smok Species. Now I can't get the glass tube to fit back onto the bottom piece.

Any tricks to solve this?

Can you post pics maybe? I'm picturing this as a bent chimney, which would mean a pretty hard drop at just the right angle, but it's tough to be sure without seeing it.
