The Sinuous Ravage230 Kit is the end-product of the collaboration between Wismec and Sinuous Designs. It looks like Predator V2 and not a new kit with a new design. Still, in my opinion, the Sinuous Ravage230 looks classy. It comes in 4 different colors: Red, Custom Blue, Brush Stainless and High Gloss Black. It features a 1.45inch color display, a center 510 connector, and a Function button. The Ravage230 is a dual 18650 battery mod, and it can fire up to 230Watts according to Wismec (sorry I do not possess the knowledge to test this). The Kit also includes the Gnome Evo non-rebuildable tank.

Aesthetics:

The Sinuous Ravage230 Kit is pretty compact for a dual 18650 mod, and the 25mm Gnome Evo Tank looks good on the Ravage230. Looking at the Ravage230 feels like I'm looking at the Predator, but an updated version. But after lurking a little on the Wismec website I clearly saw that all the products designed in collaboration with Sinuous Designs look almost the same, except some minor changes/updates. I received the kit in Brush Stainless color, and I must say I like the way it looks. What I noticed is that no matter what color you get, the buttons, and other parts will always be black. The kit looks and feels solid. But without the batteries and without the atomizer, the Ravage230 is extremely lightweight. It looks like it's been made from some kind of metal, but I am not sure which one, and I could not find this information. Above the screen, there's an engraved logo of Sinuous Designs, and on the back of the mod, it's written Ravage230. The 1.45inch color screen is a little too much for me, there are too many colors there, and I do not like this, but some other users may love this feature. On the back of the mod, on the lower part you can find the Wismec logo. The centered 510 connector can take atomizers of up to 28mm, but on the sample I received I noticed many of the my atomizers do not sit flush, you can clearly see that [here](https://imgur.com/LZy4cJx). It's not a deal breaker because it's not very easy to notice, but still, it's there! The battery door reminds me of the Smok Alien, it's almost the same, and there are also some venting holes. It doesn't rattle, with or without batteries inside.

Build Quality:

The infamous Wismec 510 connector. But I was a little shocked that the connector worked as it should, it read the resistances of all my atomizers same as my DNA200, so that impressed me a little. Still, common knowledge says Wismecs' QC is not so good, and some devices last for years (my friend's RX200S lasted almost 3 years before it died, and it was treated like crap), and some devices may fail after a few hits or a few days. The mod feels solid, I dropped it 2-3 times max, no visible damage, but it hit a soft surface. The Gnome Evo tank is built well, the threads are smooth, I've had no problems with it at all, the airflow control ring rotates smoothly, and the top cap slides also smoothly.

Mod and Atomizer Performance:

I will start with the Ravage230 mod. It disappointed me. It works well in power mod, the preheat works as it should, I tried the TC mode, the performance in TC mode was average, maybe a little below. The interface is almost the same used in the Kiya Mod by Eleaf, just more colorful. It features a clock, which surprisingly doesn't delete the date and hour after taking off the batteries. A big con I noticed, and it's a deal breaker for me, is that every 15-30 puffs or so, the mod won't respond to the fire button, or will try to fire for 0.2-0.3 sec and then stop. Also while chain vaping, if your draws are fast, the mod will think you want to enter the menu.... really? I hope this can be changed with a software update. Above the fire bar, there is a little button, it's called the Function (Fn) button, and all it does is exiting from the menu/sub-menu and putting the mod in stealth mode. The other buttons are clicky, and the +/- buttons move up/down. Now the Gnome Evo Tank, I really like its performance with the single coil provided. It gives good flavor, around 7/10, considering it's a vertical coil. The airflow is a little too loud for me, but it's enough for the single coil. I've been rocking it at 45 Watts, with the preheat at 60 Watts for 0.7 seconds and I like the performance. The coil head is 0.4ohm and it's rated at 40 - 70 Watts. As the coil connects with the base and the top cap, you can't change your coil while your tank has e-liquid in it. The cloud production was on point for a single coil.

Pros:

* The Design, I really like the way it looks, but that's subjective.

* Clock, it doesn't delete the clock settings when taking out the batteries.

* Preheat works as it should.

* 1.45-inch color screen.

* Pretty compact for a dual 18650 mod.

* Can fit up to 28mm atomizers.

* Good flavor from Gnome Evo Tank.

Cons:

* Some atomizers do not sit flush.

* +/- buttons move up and down.

* Fire button is not responding sometimes or responding for a little time.

* Entering the menu while chain vaping.

* Too many different colors on the screen. (Again, subjective con).

* Airflow can be too loud.

* No access to the coil while tank full.

Verdict:

The Sinuous Ravage230 Kit looks good, feels good, it's compact yet it has some power in it, it's an average kit, but it does not compare to other more recommended mods like the Charon or the Drag. I can't recommend the Ravage230 mod right now, there are too many cons to it, that can be fixed. It feels like this kit was rushed, and the quality is below average. I hope Wismec does something about it, I think the kit has potential, but as said above, too many flaws right now. I would recommend the Gnome Evo tank, using the WM 0.4 coil heads, it provides really good flavor and clouds for a non-rebuildable tank.

Thank you!
