What's up fellow vapers!

So I finally received my shipment from Yaeliq today. Ordered on Jan 6th and it got here today, 16 days later. In addition to receiving the Yaeliq shipment, I also received an assortment of 15+ e-juice flavors from my brother in law (stuff he doesn't like). So all in all, I probably got close to 800 ml of e-liquid via vape mail today!! I haven't had a chance to try out the Yaeliq juices because I still have juice in my tanks (maybe tomorrow).

So here's my current collection:
Yaeliq: Butter Pecan, Israeli Coffee, Butterscotch, Gingerbread, Pumpkin Pie and Cinnamon Roll (all with Flavor boost)

Ruthless: Jungle Fever, Cream Sicle (my favorites), RIse and Menage A Trois

From Bro-in-law:Classified: Crisp (I like this one Green Apple & Watermelon) | Hurricane: Mango Milkshake (Absolutely love this one!!!) | Wanted Villain Vapors: Double Down | Feels Good Vapor: Banana Pudding | Rippin Vapors: Ma Barrel | Charlie Noble: Charlie's Custard | Buckshot Vape Sauce: Hard Candy | The Mitsu: Ichigo | CRFT: Trail Mix | Mount Baker Hazelnut, French Toast & Slim Mints | VaporFi: Menthol Ice, Strawberry Watermelon, Tobacco w/ Vanilla & Dulce de Leche.

I'm so EXCITED!!! I won't have to buy E-liquid for several months.

Also, my Sigelei 100W Plus, batteries and charger should arrive tomorrow. It's going to be a great weekend!!

I think this is a pretty good collection considering that I'm still a relative noob (4 months and counting).

A question about the Yaeliq liquids. I bought all of them w/ flavor boost. I have read that I should steep them for several days to weeks. Should I start off by adding one drop of boost to each 100ml bottle and let them sit with the top open overnight? Should I steep all of my liquids - keeping them in the dark cabinets when I'm not refilling my tanks?

Let me know what you guys think.

Awesome! You're gonna like that Yaeliq, I got six 100ml bottles in yesterday, too. I got butterscotch and butter pecan and then different ones from you. I don't know about the flavor boost, but they recommend leaving the bottles open for 8-24 hours. Yaeliq is super nice and communicative, both on the forums and via email, so I'm sure they will answer your flavor boost question promptly.

It's really up to you and your taste buds for the steeping. I try everything immediately and determine what is good, and what needs time. I got Cheesecake, and I've been vaping it all day, it might get better with some time, but it's already tasty. I will say the Butter Pecan definitely needs steeping, though. That's a flavor that from my other vendor would take a good month to steep, though Yaeliq's tastes further along already. I figure the trip from Israel is likely to have provided some good shaking and time for steeping already, lol.

Enjoy and congrats on the Sig. You'll be staring intently at your charger, lol. I got my iPV3 from a different vendor than my batteries, so I was lucky to get them and have two pairs of them charged a day in advance. Would've driven me nuts, lol. I don't know what you're coming from, but the world of regulated high power mods is pretty awesome.

Thanks man, I like most of my flavors so far. I'm currently vaping Gingerbread, and I can already tell that I'll have to steep this one. I'll take your advice and leave the bottles open for 24 hours.

So far I have tried Butter Pecan which is pretty good, I think I'll add 1 ml of boost and let it sit open over night (after shaking). My current favorite is Cinnamon Roll - absolutely delicious! I have yet to try the coffee, and pumpkin. I heard it's good to mix the coffee w/ pumpkin for a Pumpkin Latte type of flavor, so I'll give it a try later. Just remembered that I tried butterscotch this morning, also needs boost and steeping. I'll try cheesecake

So my Sig came in today but my batteries and charger didn't. :( I'm hopefully that I'll get that stuff tomorrow, otherwise I'll have to wait until Monday. I hate it when 2-day USPS Priority Mail doesn't actually arrive in 2 days. So my situation is opposite of yours, I have my mod but no batteries. REALLY, REALLY hoping that I get my shit tomorrow.

Either way, I'm super excited about getting my Sig - can't wait to try out the wolrd of high power regulated mods!!!

Good luck with your Yaeliq liquids.

I'm tempted to get some pumpkin. And yeah, the butterscotch needs steeping, too. I'm really digging cheesecake, and strawberry and cream. Tutti Frutti is good, too.

That sucks about the batteries, I got a third pair in today, actually, and it's a good 5-6 hour initial charge. I was actually supposed to get my iPV3 the day before my batteries, but randomly had the opposite happen. Wasn't gonna even let myself open the mod if it came prior to the batts.

You enjoy, too! I need to do some re wicking and go through these flavors again. I was determined to taste all of them last night, and I went from a fully charged pair at 4.2 volts to around 3.85 in an hour or less. Wasn't a smart idea, lol. Nic sick. 50 watt chain vaping on an RDA at .45 is a bit much. Lol.

@KillaB3E what setup are you coming from? And what kind of attys? I know coming from mechs to regulated of me was vape life changing, lol. You're gonna love it!

OMG... YAELIQ, butterscotch is pretty good.. Sell it to me if you change ur mind about it...
Yup steep em holy juice
Sent from my
LUMIA 1520
Butterscotch is an ADV for me, I usually get it from Vista Vapors with 50% boost and 50/50. 100ml bottles always. I've been dripping mostly lately so I got 70/30 and no boost from Yaeliq. It's definitely good, but needs a bit of time. I can tell for sure that they use a different flavoring company, as well.

My current setup is all tanks. I know nothing about RBA / RDA's other than what I have seen my friend do. My max wattage is currently 11 watts with my MVP. So I've been using my Subtank at a measly 11 watts the last two weeks. I was planning to wait for the iStick 50W, but got tired of waiting and checking the forums everyday to see if places had it in stock. From my understanding, it's still not avaible to buy anywhere, only pre-order.

I have the Subtank, an Aspire Nautilus Mini (seems to be clogged), Kanger EMOW Mega and Protank 3. Battery / mod wise, I have the MVP 11 watt, and two Spinners (V1& V2), so the jump to 100 watts with the Sig will be a HUGE jump for me.

I just spent A LOT of MONEY on juices, the Sig and everything I need for the Sig, along with a bunch of coils for my Subtank (which I discovered I can re-wick and have done so once so far), so I shouldn't have to buy anymore coils at all. So in the mean time, I'm going to do some subohm-ing with the Subtank, probably mess around with it's RBA option and do some reading on RDAs, watch reviews and probably step up to dripping in a few months. The thing I don't like about dripping is having to refill the dripper after 4-5 hits. Wish there was a dripper with a tank setup that would drip the cotton when you pushed a button.

I've only been vaping and not smoking for 4 months now, so I'm still a relative noob, but I LOVE VAPING. In fact, I have a lot more stuff than my friend who introduced me to vaping back in September. I'm proud to say that vaping has become a hobby for me!

As for the batteries or lack of them, yes, it sucks. Like you mentioned, I haven't opened up the Sig up yet. All I can do is look at it.

Take care,

I went from an MVP, to Kayfuns on it, to mechs, to my iPV3. I use mechs daily still, but I just love the powa! Regulated really spoils you.

I'm guessing you have 1.2 ohm heads? Didn't think the MVP would fire below .8. No matter what it has a 3 amp limit so it's not even giving you what it's claiming. You are gonna have your mind blown!

And, nice job on rebuilding a stock head. I don't have a Subtank, but it's similar to the Kayfun, so the RBA deck should be nice. You seem to have done your research, which is good. What kind of batts did you get?

I think if you start building you'll end up keeping with it. I bought two Aerotank Giants for ease of use when not in the mood to re build, and I hate em.

Look in to the Mutation X V3 for RDAS. I can give you a ten dollar off 35 or more coupon, and they're 24.99 authentic at VaporDNA. I HATED dripping for the longest time. Same as you, constant dripping, leaking, and I drive for a living, pain in the ass. Well, the Mutation rocks. Doesn't leak unless you're being stupid, and the juice well holds a lot. It will go by fast at higher wattage, but 40 or so and it's not constant dripping. It can hold a good bit of juice. I now drip and drive. Once you find a good RDA, it makes a huge difference. I had an IGO W and as I said, hated the constant dripping, and muted flavor. A good dripper will be the opposite depending on how you set it up, and which one you get. Plus, they're cheap.

I'm excited for you man, I was obsessed and in love with mechs, and they barely satisfy now. Coming straight from an MVP is gonna be awesome! You're gonna experience so much flavor and versatility.

@TBCAmor

Yes, I've been using the 1.2 ohm heads with my MVP and can't wait to get my batts and charger. Unfortunately, no update yet on USPS, just showing that the vape mail left Tampa this morning. Hopefully it will be updated by morning and show that it's here in Charlotte.

As for the batts, I bought two Sony VTC4s and two Efest, both 18650 and a Nitecore D4 charger, along with an Ohm meter, figured I'd need it if / when I start building. I checked out the Mutation X V3, it looks cool, but again, I have NO IDEA how to build. I'm sure I could watch videos on youtube.

Speaking of building, I saw that there is a Rebuildable Atomizer Kit that was on VJ's deals page earlier today:
http://vaporjoes.com/blog/2015/01/23/its-back-the-rebuildable-atomizer-tool-set-29-99/

Is this a good deal if I plan on getting into rebuilding? It looks like it has all the tools I'd need.

Well that's it for now man, I'm signing out, have a good one,

Wish there was a dripper with a tank setup that would drip the cotton when you pushed a button.

There is, it's called, "The big dripper" and "The Zero Gravity" dripper....also there's "sqonkers", which the Reo mod and then the Billet Box seem to be the most popular of, mods that feed juice through a bottle up through the bottom of a dripper that you squeeze on demand. Just thought I'd let you know....good luck!

Good news! My batts and charger are officially "Out for Delivery"!

Lighntning Vapes put a signature requirement on the package, so I'll be here until I get it (won't even go take a dump), don't want to miss my package, the kids can wait to go to the pool,.

So I have some more questions. Do I really need a battery box? I will have four batteries and will be marrying them as you guys mentioned, probably label them with a permanent sharpie. How many batteries do I need? Is four enough?

What about a spare charger? I saw a review and some guy was saying that it's always good to have a backup. I'm getting the Nitecore D4, but others suggested the Efest one,or Etax?, so that could be backup. Of course I have my MVP and Spinners, so I could still vape, but I'm sure I won't be using those guys that much soon. (Sorry, I know this is kind of off topic)

Finally, I added about 10 drops of boost to all of my Yaeliq bottles last night and will let them sit in the dark, top down, until 8pm tonight. We'll see if it changes the flavor.

I think that's about it, just trying to study while I wait for my vape mail.

Lol at not even taking a dump. Two pairs of matched batteries is good, depends on your vaping style. I ended up getting a third pair in yesterday, in fact. That way I always have two charged pairs. Two pairs should be fine, though.

The Efest Luc is a good charger, and the Xtar VP series, I believe, are regarded as the best I think. Can't hurt to have a backup, but not really essential. I'd put my money elsewhere, first. Ohm reader, I recommend the Eleaf one, and a multimeter are important If you start building. Really should get an ohm reader, they're cheap.

That kit you linked to is ok, but not really necessary. You'll find that rebuildables are likely gonna include extra o rings, screws, and the appropriate screwdriver for them. I've got at least 8-10 little blue screwdrivers from my attys. I use nail clippers to cut kanthal, had a pair of tweezers already, and a small sharp pair of scissors as well. I make use of paper clips a lot, as well. I also wrap coils on drill bits I had, though the possibilities are pretty endless for what you can use, just find the diameter you want. Screwdrivers work, some people use coat hangers, I've even used Allen wrenches. I like a 5/64th drill bit. Large enough to wick easily, which for me was the most difficult thing to learn. You're gonna find that wrapping coils is actually really easy, especially on a build deck like the Mutation. Just watch videos and ask questions. Again an ohm reader is a necessity if you start building.

I would recommend getting some wire if you plan on building, obviously, and have the aforementioned items already. Temco, or Lightning Vapes is where to go for that. Temco is free shipping, 100 foot spools are overkill, but the best value. I'd recommend getting some 28 gauge, and 26 gauge. That should only set you back 12-15 bucks and will last a long time. 28 is great for tanks, 26, and even lower is good for RDA's. I know a lot of people use 24.

That kit has a lot of stuff, but most of what you need is probably around your house. You can re purpose many things for vaping, I do, lol. If you go that route, organic cotton balls from CVS or the like are cheap as shit. I use Cellucotton Rayon from Sally beauty supply, but everyone has their preference. It's all cheap as shit for enough to last a lifetime. I much prefer the rayon over cotton. I find no break in time, lasts longer, tastes better, and more forgiving.

And if by battery box you mean a case, they're cheap, included with many pairs, and you need something safe to store them in. Don't want loose batteries contacting keys, etc... Or tearing the wrapper somehow. You can use Airborne containers, or other plastic and correctly sized items to store batteries. Also, let them rest standing up for a good hour after charging before you use them, ideally.

That's a long post, but you seem to be asking the correct questions, and we are here to help. It's refreshing to see someone ask these things prior to using potentially unsafe stuff. It's scary to me how many people are getting mechs, having a shop build a coil, and then leaving without an ohm reader, appropriate batteries etc...at least you have a regulated device which won't let you blow yourself up if working properly, and not taxed beyond your battery capabilities. Those VTC's are great, and the Efests are probably re wrapped LG HE2's. I use the LG's, they're actually cheaper than the Efests. I have a few Sony's, but they're hard to come by now.

Thanks Kacy h,

I my batteries are just about charged, time to FINALLY try out some Sub-ohm vaping!
Nice man! Let em rest for a half hour or so before using them. Probably isn't the end of the world, but if you can wait, I'd do it. I'm super careful with all things batteries. One, I come from mechs, so you and your battery are your safety, and two, well I just don't want to ever have a battery failure of any sort.

Man, I was transferring my Yaeliq juices into smaller 30 ml bottles, just partial fills to drip from, and I knocked the Tutti Frutti over. Probably lost 15-20 ml, not the end of the world, but it bummed me out, lol. You enjoy that Sig. I'm certain you'll be very pleased.

That sucks, I almost did the same the other night when I was filling a bottle for my friend to sample. Sorry to hear that.

Unfortunately, I only waited about 5 minutes before I installed the batteries. I'll remember to wait going forward, well actually, I won't have to, since the other set will be charged. Took about 2 hours and 20 minutes to charge the Sony's.

So I'm starting with Classified: Crisp flavor and using the 0.5 ohm coil. I started at 10W and am working my way up. Even at 13W, the clouds are AMAZING! And I don't have to suck on the drip tip like I had to with the measly 11W MVP. So I'm @ 20W now and I'm start to feel a little warmth, pretty warm @ 25W. Still going up, @ 28, can feel the drip tip getting warm, and found the limit @ 34 watts, tasted a slight burnt flavor.

So, now I need my sweet spot. Man, I'm IMPRESSED with this baby, it's only slight lager than my MVP and maybe weighs a tab bit more. Also love the rubber sleeve that it came with, I hate pickup up my mod after class, when it's been sitting in the cold car, it feels like holding an ice block. No more!

I'm going to mess around with it and get some work done before the Mod Envy show @ 10.

Thanks again to everyone for your help! I'll post pictures in the Mod Discussion later.

Hell yeah! Airflow is your friend at higher wattages, though I've never used a Subtank. 35 sounds about right for the upper limits with a tank for most juices. Don't ya love the warmth, and flavors will just come alive at different power levels. It's great.
