After making several peoples' pound cake recipes & not being real happy with any one of them, I decided to combine the best elements & make my own. This steeps a little weird- after one week I didn't like it (understandable), after two weeks it was better, after 3 weeks I was disappointed again & after a month it was good to go.
And I couldn't resist naming it after the hilarious "'Lil Poundcake" skit from 2011 on Saturday Night Live!
