I purchased the pre Made coils 20 pack 0.5 ohm I have a question am I supposed to dry fire and squeeze together the coil with tweezers before wicking or is there supposed to be space between the coils

Are these for the subtank rba? If so yes, just give them a pulse or two. Probably no need to squeeze them, but pulse to oxidise a little.

Also how tight is the Cotton supposed to be should you be able to move it easily or should it be pretty firm

These were wrapped to be spaced coils, best to use them that way. Dry burn to burn off any possible residue from being made. The cotton should have a little resistance when you pull it through the coil. Pull it back and forth a little once in to be sure the cotton isn't packed too tightly under the coil. If you get too much crackling and spitting when vaping use a little more cotton the next time. Dry hits use less. You'll get a feel for it.
