Old bag here, 63, stuck at home on lockdown because, again, old bag. I quit smoking on Oct 1, 2011 (30 yr habit) and started vaping on Oct 1, 2011. I read up on vaping around the time that where I live was banning smoking in our apartments and also anywhere on the apartment complex property. We had a year to prepair for that. I was in a panic. I liked to smoke! Some people chill with a drink, getting high, meditation. I kicked back by having a cig and a cup of coffee or tea. There was a women I knew at our complex that had this thing that she puffed on that I came to find out was an Ecig (looked like a cig). /She sat and explained about it and said if people got smart where we lived they would look in to Ecigs as an alternative to smoking. I did just that. That was in August 2011 and there was less than a year for our ban to take effect. I bought a kit ( yep, way over paid but it would set me up for while as I learned about vaping online). Set a date for when my last carton would be done and had the Ecig kit ready. I've never looked back. I don't miss smoking and have not for several years now, though, those first few years, I would recall a nice inhale at the oddest times. lol
