So vape family!.. I've got my mech mod... A mutation x running on efest purple 18650.. Got my nitcore i2 charger.. A Derringer rda.. Mutation x v3 rba.. And a doge comp v2.. BOOM! Lol... Got myself a little spool of 26g kanthal and an ohm reader.... I'm in love! Been building the norm.... . 5 . 7 nice coils.. Tonite I braided some kanthal.. And put a nice five wrap duel boy on my new Derringer.. . 24 on the ohm reader and I'm a happy happy vaper! I think I'm going strong getting better at my coils. But my wicking needs work.. I'm shooting for dense flavorful vapor. . So there it is goodly vape fam.. Lots of cotton? Little cotton? Tight? Stuff the juice well? Ahoi Oi!

I like it to slide through the coil with some redtriction but not too much. Has to go through without bunching up at thr choke point.
i dont like cotton in the well, i cut the tips so the cotton just touches the well. A bed of cotton cuts airflow from under the coil and in between posts.

I posted my strategy a little while back if you care to have a read. I use the little squares of organic japanese cotton. I get my best results with just enough wick hanging in the juice well so that they don't touch

You should experiment with some 24g. Congrats on the new gear.
