I have 2 coils I want to save/clean them out.
Would it be possible to clean them out with isopropyl alcohol? Soak them in then flush it out with hot water?

Ive read online, some say good.. some say bad.

(I have no time to run to my liquor store to grab vodka)

Need opinions.

As @MrScaryZ said, ethyl alcohol (ethanol) is the only alcohol you can actually drink, or Vodka

I rinse my coils in hot water all the time... it doesn't remove all the gunk from the coil itself, but it does do a good job cleaning out the wicking.

I gave up on cleaning coils, it never seemed to make much improvement. Now I put on my 2x reading glasses and pull the coils apart and rewick or re-coil and rewick depending on the condition of the coil.

Heat them up, en-atty, quench in cold water...shocks the crap loose, brush it off, if any remains.
