Is this rust in my fused clapton coils?

Hi, I'm new here so bare with me...
I bought a spool of fused clapton online it's a A1 kantal
But lately I changed my cotton and notice that my coil is gunk up with black stuff.
My way of cleaning them is heating them until they are red hot then running them in tap water then repeating it for 2 to 3 times.
But after the coils dried up I notice this thing that all of the sudden "grow" on the coils...

I know my rda is a little bit dirty, I already cleaned it
My concern is that rust? On my coils? Thanks

I'd definitely toss those and start with fresh ones. Some coils last not as long as others sometimes. Unfortunately. I usually dry burn mine 3 or 4 times and that's it. But I make my own coils so it ends up cheaper but time consuming some days. I mainly use fused Claptons so I've learned to spin those out pretty quick when needed

Alright thank for replying
I also watched couple of youtube videos on how to build my own claptons...
So.... thats a thing...

that is coked up burnt juice, basicly, ashes. use your wicking tool to scrape it off, then burn/rinse it some more.
if you vape like I do, those will last a year or more.
