    Hello i have a question.Im usig the SMOK OSUB PLUS 8OW with the tfv-8 rba .And today from my neatention my coils touched metal when i fiered them and since then the mod wont fire but ewreything else is working ,its recognizing any atomizer and 100% ewreything else is working but it wont fire when i press the buton ,no error mesage its timing the puff as usaly would but its just not fiering the coil...Does this mean that i should say good by to my mod or can this be fixed.Thatnks in advance

    I assume that you've tried a new coil? Try a standard factory coil in it if you've got one. If that doesn't work, shut the mod off and pull the batteries. Put in a fresh set, or charge the ones you pulled. Re-install the batteries, fire it up and see what happens. If it still won't fire then you've likely fried something inside. Then it'll be time to kiss the OSUB good bye.

    Have you tried re-flashing the firmware.

    Had the same issue with an ijoy. read the atomizer, timed the fire, no current to coil. Sounds like whatever send current from controller A to B is fried.

    Not that bad.. i just took what i would have spent on cigarettes and bought another mod. I already had a tank so just the mod was all i needed

    but i dont know why the fuck the big SMOK tech puts "short protection"on the box and it just burns the fuck down from this and my friends chepo no name vape mod vont ewen fier iff the coils are touching the base or the walls

    I would suggest getting a ohms meter if your going to be using a rebuildable anything. Sucks that you probably fried your mod but take it as a lesson learned. Is that your only mod?

    yes it is :( just bought it a couple days ago and i gave my old one to my friend
    and the problem were not the ohms because they were pre built coils for the rba base but it acidentaly touched the rba-s wall
