I know this may sound like a stupid question, I was just wondering I just bought a Intellcharger I2 and was thinking of leaving this plugged in when not charging batteries. Is this safe and or will this harm the charger? Thanks in advance for reading.

I have the I4, and while it probably won't hurt anything, I don't leave it just sitting.
Just because something could spill on it, power surges, the cat could chew on it...etc.

When charging is done, it gets put back in a drawer. But, that's me. :)

I see no reason why it would be unsafe for the charger other than the possibility of external damage by having it lying around.

No it wont hurt it man I have had mine plugged in for about a year I would plug it into a very good surge protector but yeah no prob..
I am not saying do it... What I do and what others shoud do are differnt but I use a Power conditioner before my surge protectors and have a master
Power conditioner for my whole house but even if you dont just do not put it on wood or something silly :)
