I've just bought one of these.
I have an iSub Apex with an Ni200 coil in it.
I'm a bit worried about vaping in wattage mode on the nickel coil before trying the temp control. Isn't it supposed to be dangerous?

I bought this mod recently and after less then a week it just stopped working and would not turn on. Also no reply after trying to contact ijoy.

The mod will hold temp control on Ni200 if the wattage is set at below 40w before switching to temp control.
You don't need to vape on the nickel under the 40w.
So that's fine.

If you want to vape in temp control with the wattage set at more than 40w you have to do a few puffs so the mod "learns" the coil you are using.

Nope. It doesn't hold the TC mode. Keeps switching back to wattage and resetting to 15w as the default.
I've had no response from ijoy support about it switching modes.
I've been trying to get this thing to work for half an hour this morning and haven't got a decent puff out of it in TC mode.
I'll persevere and watch more YouTube videos whilst vaping on my trusty coolfire IV TC 100.
But I'm thinking this is a load of shite.
No wonder my vape shop was selling it with free batteries, free charger and free Rafale tank.
Obviously they were trying to off load this bollox.
I'll report back if this thing miraculously starts working as advertised.
