Herkakes subtank settings

How many watts do you run using the .6 ohm coil in the Herkakes?
I had been running about 45w and burned the cotton in a new coil this morning. I installed another new coil and letting it sit before taking my first hit..
Sorta wondering what this coil needs to hit good.. Look how black that coil is..
After only a half tank of juice.. Any thoughts?

Did you drip on the coil before putting it all together? I have always been told on these sub tanks to wet the wick before putting the tank on.

Yes, I started putting a few drops of juice on a new coil to prime it..then take a few dry pulls without firing..usually I see alot of bubbles...I start off at about 20w and keep bumping up to my desired sweet spot..about 40w...
