Help with Aegis purchase

Hi all.

I want to purchase an Aegis 100W GeekVape mood. But I haven’t ever really vaped before and I’m a bit confused.

I’ve worked out what batteries I need but I don’t understand the tank/coils and can’t find any information on it.

I was going to buy the GeekVape Zeus with it as it is apparently leakproof and I assume it would fit. But I don’t understand the “coils”. My brother vapes and he has this kind of screw in coils with cotton. But if I google coils for this I see this wrapped wire and no cotton.

I guess my question is, what do I need to purchase alongside the Aegis as it comes on it’s own?

Okay, the Geekvape Zeus is an RTA, i.e. Rebuildable Tank Atomizer set up. The coil is replaceable. It's for people that like to build their own coils or use pre-made coils. You simply take a premade coil and install it in the atomizer body, wick it (cotton) and go for it. If this isn't something you want to get into right away then a different tank would probably be best. As for what tank, there are a million of them out there. For my money the Aspire Clieto, or the Uwell Crown 3 would be good choices. If you're not comfortable with purchasing a separate tank Geekvape does offer a full kit, Mod and Shield tank as well. Element vape has them here https://www.elementvape.com/geek-vape-aegis-100w-tc-starter-kit . Just be advised that while (most) of the Aegis mods come with a Golisi 26650 batter, if you are buying from a reputable shop or online store, the Kit does not. One plus of the kit is it comes with the silicon adapter for 186650 batteries, the cap for 20700 and 21700's, and of course the standard cap for 26650's, so you can use about anything you find yourself with. Your call.

I think you may be progressing too fast with advanced equipment especially since you have not really vaped before. I strongly suggest you read the following and start slow and learn the fine points first then step up to more advanced vape equipment.
