An old fashioned swimming hole where kids and teens hang out.
I visited it with friends a few times in the late 90s while still in High School.
Few years ago I got in touch with an old friend and we pretty much figured out exactly where it was using a combination of google maps and google USGS topographical maps. Depending on where your standing on the edges of those big rocks on the right sode, you were anywhere from 3-5ft over the water and right below the rocks the water was close to 7ft deep. Supposedly there was a cave down there. I wanted to get more pictures of the surrounding area, especially the rock ledges, but it didn't look nice enough to photograph because kids like spray paint. The small falls in the distance were sorta like a 10ft long water slide.

I think he means how did the visit go. I initially miss read this and it seemed like they were located where you Now live. But it's actually your Hometown
. I think that's how he read it too 
Sorry guys, KW stands for Key West. ya know that little chain of island way south of florida you always seen on the weather channel maps...Gainesville(hometown) is a solid 8 hour drive. I haven't been home since 11/11/11 which was my brother wedding. I do plan on going this year tho, and will surely stop in . Sorry for the confusion.
