Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.
Gotham's third-to-last episode of the season, the action-driven "Unleashed," raised a decent question. Was Butch obliterating Azrael with a rocket launcher enough to, basically, save an entire episode? I'm inclined to think it kind of does. Not that "Unleashed" was terrible, but it certainly had more than a few issues. Nothing out of the realm of the issues Gotham usually has, but hiccups nonetheless.
Alfred and Bruce deciding to fortify themselves inside Wayne Manor instead of running, and then deciding that it was wise to split up inside the dark mansion while locking windows and doors? Tabitha somehow not dying from Azrael's brutal sword stab? Riddler escaping his cell because...there was an easy-to-open vent on the ceiling? Just a series of boneheaded elements that worked to take me out of the story. I'm not openly looking for flaws. I want to invest. But some things just don't ring true.
