Are you looking for the very best ridiculously overpriced accessory to vape your PGGB e-juice with your Frankenskull and your Shorty RDA? Enter the $20 coil. It even comes in a jewelry box. I shit you not!

I'm sure the vapedouche side of the vaping community will eat this shit up.

They will swear that these coils "ht harder" and "have better flavor" then the exact same coils using the exact same wire that cost 1/4 the price.

What the fuck is the jewelery box for?
It ain't like you can put them back in there when you are not using them any longer!

1/4 of the price is still way too much :) With a drill and 2 spools of kanthal wire at $20 / 100 ft, you can make 300 of these things. And it'd take you less time to make your own coil that it'd take you to order a jewelry coil online.

And I'm thinking, if I was okay to pay that much for a coil, I'd use pre-made heads that I can just screw into the atomizer. At least I'd be closer to getting my money's worth. But pre-wrapped coils? That's the worse of both world: it's pricey and you still have to do the build.

    Stupid, stupid vaping market...

I'm not down with all the wire wrapping tricks but I buy a 30ft spool of 316L SS staggered clapton wire for like 12 bucks so to me it's worth it for someone else to do it for me instead.

If it wasn't for finding that deal I'd just use regular 22ga stainless like I used to.

There is barely a noticeable difference to me between the two.
Not enough to spend more than 12 bucks for around 80 coils.

    Exactly :)

Having said that, cute coils are a nice talking point to impress vapetards in vape meets.

The sad part of all this is that I've seen coils for this price on many websites without the jewelry box. This expencive "high end" coil thing isn't new at all lol
Also they're cotton never gives dry hits, holds double the juice and last twice as long. A little bag for $9 and it better do all that and more.

This is kind of like when those assholes were sticking 15 foot pieces of 22ga stainless steel wire in a bag, calling it "gPlat" and selling each bag for $20 a couple years back.

If they can find just a minor amount of repeat customers who are not only stupid enough to buy it but are even stupid enough to continue to support them even when shown clear evidence that they have been ripping their customers off then they will without a doubt get rich off of the small group of suckers that support them and their behavior.

I get the fact that a lot of coil makers charge this much but that doesn't make it any less stupid.

This one is especially bad because I know enough about coils to realize that the fucking box cost more for this vendor to buy then it did for them to make the set of coils.

Checked out their site and they state their coils last 3-5 months. Any idea why they last that long?

Yes: because any damn coil of this gauge wire lasts that long :)

because after spending 20 bucks for coils..you are going to swear they are worth every penny..even when they taste like burning tires. not that you were conned.

It says on their website these coils are $18/pair, not $20. But you can order a box of take away food in every ordinary city for this same price and still be able to make the food yourself for like only $6 if you know how to cook so... cry me another river. lol

I think alot of people don't realize just how mechanically inept some folks are. just as there are some people God love then that can't boil an egg.

If you clean your coils and cotton before they get all gross, coils can last a long time. That being said, the price is actually less than what many others charge, as @jasonandsarah stated. Last I checked a set of mterk aliens is around $25, but I haven't checked in a while. You can go over to AVS and get aliens and claptons in SS for far less.

Okay, so $9 a pop. Woohoo.... Color me unimpressed.

Also, to reuse your analogy, it's the equivalent of ordering a box of takeaway food, then having to add some veggies, salt and pepper and finish the dish at home. You know what? When I pay extra for ready-made food, that's because I don't want to cook. But those are just coils you still have to do a build with!

And of course, for those of us who are green-minded, I'm not even talking about the senseless waste of those cheesy jewelry boxes that serve no purpose and are just there to end up in the trash...

The boxes are a waste as an everytime thing but I have to be honest as a Mario Puzo fan and lover of the Godfather, I wouldn't mind having one of those! Lol

Can't anybody see the fact that they are platinum coated? Extracted from the Ural mountains of Russia, purified from the hands of North Korean children, implanted into the rare amazonian tarantula so that it can be naturally spun into the wire before it is sent to the supplier so that they can wrap and box it up! The box itself is designed by Greek scientists to prevent premature oxidation and corrosion during shipping. Come on! Don't you guys know anything about the lavish lifestyle?!

When you buy a new car you also still have to learn how to drive it, nothing is ever perfect and nobody is forcing you to buy the coils, it's a free world, and, even though I personally wouldn't buy the coils... you can color me unimpressed with the river you've cried so far. :D

I heard that they even wrap the coils on the horn of a unicorn instead of a crappy coiler.

Some folks are just into that sort of thing I guess. I mean some order regularly from schwanns trucks. Or better yet, someplace like omaha steaks.

People think mcd's is bad, a special omaha's been running is 2x 5oz filet mignons, 2x 5oz top sirloins, 2x 4oz boneless pork chops, 4x 3oz sausages, 1lb of french fries, 4x 4oz caramel apple tarts and a whole 0.33oz of special seasoning all for just $70 on sale. Seriously? 5oz steaks and 3oz sausages? An 8oz steak is fricken small much less 5oz, that's not even a pound of meat between 3 servings.

There are places that people can get groceries delivered to make preset meals anywhere from 1-4 days a week that are even worse when it comes to price/value.

I don't see the issue with the pricing. Maybe I have missed something.

It takes me at least a half an hour to make a set of aliens. More like an hour by the time the coils are cleaned and wrapped.

What is your time worth? I would never sell them for any less than $15 per pair absolute bare minimum.

Find another small business that only charges $20/hour for their labor. You would be hard pressed.

So, I ask a legitimate question and all you want to do is bust my nuts. Thanks.
I apologize that my knowledge of coils is so far below yours
