I am a big fan of combining bourbon in chocolate mixes. So I tried this and it is quite good. I took the coconut down to 1% and changed pineapple for TFA Granny Smith. I cannot taste the apple but it brings a bit more snap to the mix (I did try a 3ml sample without the apple, coconut, or pineapple, too). I don't care for coconut, but you cannot taste the coconut in this and it brings a depth to the other flavors that it shouldn't be left out.
if you let it steep, the coconut does come out.. as well as the fruits..
the chocolate does get tamed a bit while sitting.
