So i've been using my trusty workhorse DAILY and now might be a good time to see how it's holding up. I've dropped this, i've had the top cap stuck, i have loved it, hated it and really carried with me everywhere.
First the button. It's truly wonderful, i've never had it fire on my pocket, never had it stuck, never got it hot even with my 0.06 builds. Magnets are still perfect, no issues what so ever. Engravings have pretty much disappeared under a layer of scratches and patina and shit, but that just gives it character
Threads. I've been screwing attys on and off many times daily and suprisingly the threads are still decent. Even screwed my Tugboat on there once all crooked and the threads are fine. Not wobbly one bit. Genuinely surprised by that. Threads on the top cap and the fire button are really good, although sticky but that's not the mods fault, copper just is that way. Few times the top cap got so stuck that i had to twist it off with pliers and ended up scraping the copper, but again, character.
Overall i think this mod is pretty much indestructable. I haven't been easy on it, but the mod is still perfectly functional and intact. Some pics below.
