So. I just decided to try my hand at some fused claptons. I definitely missed my tight 90° . But they seem to be working. 26g cores 32g outer. I was just curious of how anyone else's first time ended up.

looks pretty good for a first try man  my first time i used something like 28/30. they were not so great, but i didnt have the right wire and i wanted to try the technique. it only takes a couple tries to get it right, and its a bit easier with smaller wrap wire (36 and up). have a look at the official clapton thread for some tips/discussion, and dont forget to post your builds :D

Hell as long as they work right. First time for me was with 30guage for the wrap also. Disaster. Got some 36 and went better. Got some spool tamers and no it pretty much does the guiding for me.

I missed the 90 degree mark my first several times lol, but instead of spaces I had to put my drill in reverse, unwind, forward, backward, forward, backward... And on lol

You can go a little less ahead and stop and pull the wraps back until their tight, until you get that perfect angle (the window is wider than you think)
