I'm looking for a recipe for blueberries and cream using FA flavors. For the blueberry, using bilberry instead. From my best guess, the recipe might look somewhat close to:

Bilberry: 2-3%
Vienna Cream: 2%
Fresh Cream: 1%

Blueberries and Cream v 1
FA Bilberry 2%
FA Custard 2%
FA Fresh Cream .5%

Notes:
I really like Bilberry at 2% and paired with FA's custard, makes a delicious combination. I still intend to try Bilberry at 1.5% according to HIC's suggestion, and make a bottle of both to let steep for around a month. I am also going to make a cream version to compare against.

Rda's on a Mech:
  • Veritas - Single 24g Macro Coil at .75 ohms
  • Vox Plume - Dual 26g Parralel Micro Coils at .3 ohms
Tasting Notes (Not a professional taster by any means):
  • On inhale, you get a taste of fresh slightly sour blueberries followed up with a creamy custard.
  • On exhale, I feel like it's missing some of the blueberry taste and is mainly creamy custard.

That sounds pretty good, have you mixed it yet? Was wondering how well the Bilberry comes through at that percentage.

I haven't done a mix of this. I played with an earlier bilberry mix and I liked it at that. I've played very little with creams as I've always killed the percents on them. Bilberry is a very strong flavor.

I'd start more like 1% on Bilberry (means most would try 1.5 first). Also consider 0.5% Meringue to sweeten and brighten that dark berry flavor.

OR use about 2% FA Custard instead of that Vienna. Custard is excellent with dark berries; you might want some Fresh Cream with that, too - but it wouldn't need Meringue.

How much fresh cream do you recommend to add with the custard? Also, do you have any posts you'd recommend on working with creams/vanillas?

I usually start with 0.5% on Fresh Cream and taste it that way before adding more. It's not sweet, and if sweetness is needed, 1% Fresh Cream will make it really obvious.
