Just ordered 4 30Q batteries. My 2+ yr old HG2's are getting to be pretty short run time.
I desperately need new batteries but don't see it happening soon. Another fuck up from yesterday...I think the heater on my waterbed is going out. They're not that expensive but now is not the time to be filling a waterbed with water from the outside faucet. It will take a week to warm up. :cry:

Yep especially after the diet that you have been doing.

Eh, very, very rough start on that - but I've made peace with it

The little bit of cheating I did during the holidays wasn't as satisfying to the pallet as my imagination anticipated and the repercussions physically were swift :eek:

But look at it this way, a year ago (this all came down Jan. 2, 2017) I was miserable, in pain, lacked energy and my joints were so swollen up I could hardly rewick an attie, lol

I can now stand on my head (really!) or be on my feet all day - that is freedom

Only joint problems I have in in my feet and back.
Back is 20 years or so of Degenerative disc disease and complications thereof.
Feet... I dunno DR thinks arthritis And wanted me to go to specialist which was not covered by Obamacare.
so I just take naproxen for my back and it helps my feet too ;)

Afternoon errybody!
One of my New Year's intentions was to cook more. I'm eating BBQ chicken, boiled potatoes smothered in butter and baked cabbage. Yum yum!! I thought I had almost forgotten how to cook. :oops:

@DogMan I'll trade my 50 degrees for your 94.

Work later so everybody behave! :teehee:

The push fitting will just pop off of copper if they freeze. The compression ones with the nut on them should be good.
Push fittings work fine on PEX and CPVC.
CPVC is much less susceptible to freeze damage than copper.

And an Electrical Pro too.

It took the plumbers a grand total of 15 minutes to get the section of busted pipe off, compression fittings and new pipe in place. And 5 minutes of that was going out to the truck and getting the pipe and fittings. $112. I'm not complaining because at least 1. my water is back on and 2. the PEX won't burst when it freezes. I'd like to have all the copper pipe replaced under my house. I need an Electrical Pro! Wanna come here and rewire my house? I'd like to have each room wired to its on circuit breaker. Is that doable?
