I have been wanting to try something out for sometime, but I am always a day late and a dollar short. I want to buy one of those cheap hand held battery powered fans from a dollar store that they normally sell during the summer season. I would reverse the fan blades, so instead of it pushing the air, it would pull it instead. Lay down a thick cloud of vapor on my desktop and flick on the slightly modified handheld fan, holding it a few inches above the layer of vapor on the desktop and see if the fan would actually create a vapor tornado. Someone out there must have tried this already!
