Drip tip gets too hot

I bought a Smok Morph 219, which came with their new TF tank. Some folks are calling it the 'TF Mesh' tank, some are calling it 'TF 2019.' It came with two single mesh .25 Ohm coils.

The tank is great, but man, the drip tip gets smokin' hot. Too hot to vape. Like it burns my lips. I tried swapping out the coil, opening the airflow to the widest position. No help.

None of the reviews for this tank mention this. Is it just me? Is this how most mesh coils are?

I'd lower the wattage. Recommended on the side of the coil is just a starter point but it's wherever you're comfortable vaping. You can vape a lower wattage than the coil says

I've tried that. Problem is, it's just not tolerable above 50 watts and I prefer to vape closer to 70. Maybe this just isn't the tank for me, or do you think all mesh tanks get this hot?

Mesh definitely heats faster than standard coils. In the mesh tanks I've used I stay around 50 watts or it gets too hot for me also

Get a glass drip tip or a stone one. Also get one that’s a little longer. Should take care of the heat problem
