I'm trying to lol! I need to clean my Coppervape Squonk mod (like yours @JuicyLucy ) I got some Deoxit. Otherwise it doesn't hit that well. The guys at the Coppervape thread suggested I use Deoxit. Haven't had a chance to clean it yet. Still using my cheapie Kanger Dripbox 60 watt. Surprisely works well! Waiting for the Ram Squonk to become available.
Chain squonk? Me? I dunno. Well *sqounk* I might. I use 18mg/ml nicotine. Got told yesterday at my 6 month GP look over I had to start weening off nicotine. That for me will blow. If I get to 6mg/ml I'll need to squonk three times as much.
Did the Doc say why? Ween off totally or just to a lower nic level?
Only when at a Casino. And let me tell you there is no worse feeling (Whether winning or losing) when you look at all the mods you brought with you and all the bottles are almost empty and or your batteries have drained down and are giving an anemic vape.
You realize it makes no sense at all from a health perspective to cut you nic if doing so makes you vape more juice, right?
Nicotine constricts blood vessels. It would be preferred I be completely off nicotine. Got a few factors already for possibly having a stroke, don't need nicotine "helping".
Well, if I have lower nicotine then vaping three times as much say at 6mg/ml only would get me back to what I would do at 18mg/ml. It's not the quantity of vaping as much as the quantity of the nicotine used. You're correct but in a bit of a round about way. Point being I would be using three times more juice product, yet the same quantity of nicotine, in effect not even bothering with trying to lower the nicotine.
I didn't bother explaining there's roughly a 50% loss going on in conversion/absorption. Doubt it would have been heard anyway. Seems there's a keen push toward scaring folks over nicotine use, no matter how little one uses. I was half expecting a pitch for Chantix but fortunately that didn't happen.

OK so it appears that I'm not the only one....thanks folks.....I've been able to come up with a ss mesh build to squonk on so I'm really enjoying it ...it seems to work fine as long as I stay below 30 watts.I can get about 3 good pulls before I have to squonk.. I was just wondering if I was getting carried away.
I'd like to see that setup, have never seen anyone use SS in a squonk atty....but if anyone could make it work nicely it would be you...!
You're already carried away. That's a given when you squonk.
We're all through the looking glass darkly, or down the rabbit hole. Welcome also to the Never Never. I'm using plain old dumb Kanthal, & some already made up Kanthal Clapton. I get around 6-10 good hits using Rayon for wick. I get less hits using Mugi organic cotton likely 3-6.
Unable to locate a wick preference, both work fine for me. I've yet to try SS with squonking. Merely not gotten there yet. Looking next to get into some Ni coil building. I'm taking the next step in becoming some arcane religious Jedi coil building nut or something.

SS ought to do well for squonking. Figure no metallic after taste in the vape if you anneal the SS. A light torching ought to suit. I suggest that simply to expunge any traveling impurities it might pick up, it also makes the SS a bit easier to work with. I used it once before, only not squonking.
Stay where suits you. By no means don't try comparing to others. If it would not be for my wife having heard the scaring sermon of this nurse I would stay at 18mg/ml. As she did hear it I do need to at least appear to try lowering my nicotine. Hopefully, she'll not read this posting. if she does, I'm blaming one of my evil clones what is a mischievous brat that makes brave macho he-man postings.
Will she buy it and let me off? Don't know. She has on a few occasions, actually telling me I needed to have an exorcism.
yeah, I've been meaning to post some photos...it's working surprisingly well, but the wick will only work in a handfull of squonkers.... Usually mesh guys will build a mesh slug wick in drippers and squonkers,but I'm not seeing it work that well, and also whether I'm using a genny or a dripper I like the small reduced chamber attys and those do not lend themselves well to slug wicks.
